The PBB Burger

removed a patty from this one. the peanut butter sauce really shines here. great consistency, more runny than thick, doesnt have that dryness pb usually has. previous reviews heavily criticise the beef. its not the best ive had but very far from the bottom. thick, juicy and meaty but like other reviews say could use some seasoning. They also fell to the cardinal sin of not melting cheese.

I was so damn keen for this... as a lover of meat, cheese, & peanut butter, I had super high expectations🤪 The flavour combination of the perfectly cooked, thick, streaky bacon, melted cheese & peanut butter sauce was amazing... I made it better by adding a heap of extra melted peanut butter... but I was a tad let down by the beef. Advertised as ‘butter marbled’ I just expected a richer flavour, the patty itself was lacking seasonings, and quite bland. They were super thick, super moist, juicy, and cooked perfectly pink in the middle.. but just didn’t quite hit the mark when it came to flavour. Great concept though, and still a great, hefty, filling burger if you’re after an epic cheatday feed😋

Went and nabbed the PBB from Peanut Butter Bar im the city, a lot of hype seen around this one and i can half understand why. The patties were cooked beautifully but they just tasted like they hadn't been seasoned. the peanut butter 'sauce' felt like regular peanut butter but melted which is still good and the cheese was amazing. overall a decent burger.

This is their signature burger for a reason! 2 x 180g butter marbled beef patties, 2 x cheddar cheese, 4 x maple glazed, smoky bbq bacon, secret PBB sauce and house pickled cucumbers. The peanut butter on the burger was unreal! The flavours brought out a party with every bite! So if you love peanut butter you need to try this ASAP #peanutbutterbar

Finally tried this place and was not too blown away sadly. Bun and sauce was really really good, so that’s the only thing that gets the points. The maple bacon was not very maple-y at all and the patties were extremely overcooked and quite tasteless which is a fail in my books (grey-beige tasting meat = heartbroken), especially when there’s 2 of them. Will only go back to try chips doused in that peanut butter sauce!

For a lover of peanut butter, this was heaven. I had it without the bacon. Good amount of beef with 2 thick patties. Super soft bun. Peanut butter really works in this burger!

Wow would of thought peanut butter would go well on a burger? Man this was delicious. Mumma would so approve of this one

Upon initial Peanut butter bar experience I must say, the fact that the PBB comes with double beef bacon and cheese is enticing, but it was far to much for my (potentially weak) pallet to handle. I felt there was too much volume and not enough substance. So this time around I opted for single beef patty, single bacon serve and instead, extra peanut butter secret sauce. The blend of meat cheese bacon and sauce came out perfectly, as though an angel covered in peanut butter had fallen into the meat grinder at the new PBB express at Revesby, and I was the lucky man to have her. Highly recommend, or just ge the original PBB with extra extra sauce 😂
