🍔 - Cheeseburger . 📍 - @marysgetfat . . Although the presentation is shit house, I’m still posing cos I love this burger - this is always my second burger whenever I go to @marysgetfat classic at best! Beef, 2 x cheese, onion, pickles, mustard and ketchup #marys

Can't think of much better than a juicy double cheese burger while sitting in the park; sun on skin, with a glass of red. Call me bougie, zero fcks. Would do it all again. Burger was a double, thick, juicy and delicious!

solid burger, great flavours and good size. basically a gourmet maccas cheeseburger. definitely hasn’t stood out as some of the recent burgers tho it’s still great burger

Another trip to Mary’s ending in success. Small burgers (needed 2) but great quality. good beef, gooey cheese and lots and lots of sauce. Added trash can bacon to the standard cheesey and didn’t regret it. Is there a worse place to get a photo?

Mary’s cheeseburger Bun + cheese + onion + meat + pickles (std. cheesey lol) Ok so I stuffed this up. Was supposed to order a ‘Mary’s burger’ but just was 100% sidetracked on my way to see Anberlin in concert (which was insane!!!) Anyways, so after paying $18 for the cheeseburger and fries (std. not an option) I set out to somewhere to sit (takeaway and Mary’s is a bit noisy for my style). Chose Oporto by the road on enmore street which also wasn’t great but anyway, it was just beginning. Opening my bag, for $18 doh Rae me I got me this tiny tiny burg. Honestly this was smaller than a $2 coin. All jokes aside I love a good cheesie but damn, price was a killer here - not feeling the value. Onto the burger, not much to review really. Nice flavor, good beef - but not worth the coin. I mean I can’t blame them as I ballsed this order up, but do yourselves a favour and order the Mary burg / order whilst thinking about burgs and not a concert! Ps well done for getting this far if you have - waiting for a train you missed by 1 minute sucks haha!

What is there left to say about Mary's? I felt like a cheeseburger and was rewarded with one of the most consistent guys around. Shame they don't look good on camera but when they taste amazing all the same. Only wished that I added that extra patty and bacon :-(

Some places have contributed to shaping who you are as a person. Mary’s has shaped me. Going to this place is like visiting your favourite grandma (minus the grunge, or not... depending on what your grandma is like) because you know you’ll be well-fed. Mary’s single handedly got me through my uni degree at Sydney and started my love for burgers. Hence the top rating. The first bite of this cheeseburger with trashcan bacon added is like a first kiss, like finding your long lost sister, like buying your first house. You don’t even have to use your teeth to pull it apart it’s so soft. The beef patty is juicy and the bacon is perfectly cooked. The cheese mixed with the perfectly tangy and salty mixture of the mustard and tomato sauce ties it all together. And there’s no pressure to talk while you’re eating because you can’t hear anything in there anyway 😎. Couldn’t get a good photo with flash because JP1 said that would be embarrassing. Side note... get the mashed potato and gravy as well.

You know when you just feel like a greasy, classic cheese burger? Well I was craving just that and knew Mary’s was the place to go. I hadn’t been for a while and last night they were firing on all cylinders. The place itself is grungy and dirty AF and the burger is the same. Confirmed this on my first bite as a combo of sauce and cheese ran down my hands and chin. Loved it. Super soft bun, perfectly cooked beef patty (impressive for such a thin patty), crispy trashcan bacon (added), crunchy diced onion, a ketchup/mustard combo that seemed to be juuuuuust right combined with some of the best cheese melt I’ve had in forever. I know the flavour doesn’t technically change when it’s melted (right?) but it just seemed to make it that much better. Only downside is I forgot to double the beef and cheese (rookie) and was still hungry afterwards. It’s not a big burger so if you’re in the mood, get two. After seeing the last few reviews from TBC, I was hoping to avoid a kitchen catastrophe and it seems like they’ve fixed whatever issue it was. I don’t think I’ve tried a better cheese burger for a long time. Apologies for the bad pic. Is there a harder place to get a photo?
