J Burger and Infamous Primo - Annandale location Been to Sydney twice this year and both times went to Burgers by Josh! Absolutely tasty and hasn’t disappointed, some of the best buffalo wings and burgers we’ve had Last time we went we shared the platter with a group and the chicken bites were dry and flavourless but that’s been the only thing we haven’t thoroughly enjoyed

Wagyu Beef Patty House Made Southern Pimento Cheese House Carolina Applewood 14hr Smoked Pork Twisties Mac N Cheese Jack Daniels Chipotle & Honey BBQ Sauce Crispy Onions Pickled Jalapeños . 🐊🥃🐊🥃🐊🥃🐊 ~ The current special from BBJ isn’t the prettiest burger to look at, but it ticks all the boxes that make up a quality burger for me. It is similar in concept to the DNO special, executed in a different way. It was almost a no brainer that I had to try it. Last time I went to Annandale the burger seemed slapped together and devoid of flavour. This was executed very well. The burger was so balanced without any one ingredient jumping out. Beef was pink and juicy. It’s cool that they’re making their own cheese, but I couldn’t tell the difference from regular cheese. In saying that I wolfed this down quite quickly, and I wasn’t until I was almost finished that I remembered I needed to review it 😄 I ate fries with this burger, which I don’t normally do. They had a nice seasoning, which I think was used in the onions too. They were really crispy and added the desired crunch. The pork wasn’t dry, but it wasn’t moist either. In the mix of the burger it didn’t matter, as the mac n cheese with its delicious gooey moisture fixed that up. The bbq sauce was used judiciously, and added just enough sweetness to round out the flavours. Another quality special put out by BBJ.

Technically this is a hacked J-Burger. It’s my fave at BBJ. A J-Burger with added Scorpio fillet. Signature Wagyu Beef, American Cheese, Iceberg Lettuce, Tomato, New York Crinkle-Cut Pickles, Onion, Grilled Onion, Capsicum Jam, Secret Recipe J Sauce Finished on a Potato Bun. Plus the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken. Chicken and beef monster combo, always love it. On this visit it wasn’t as hot as usual but still tasty and moorish as all get out.

So Josh has slightly rehashes his menu, and the J Burger has supposedly been made to be more of an In-n-Out homage. Still a solid burger, hasn't reinvented the wheel. I don't see any similarities to I'n'O. If anything he's reduced the size of the burger while retaining the price tag. It's a nice burger still. Just not a fan of the big pieces of lettuce taking up a third of the burger :/

Not a bad burger but not special either. The added bacon and soft bun was my favourite bits. The burger is a bit small too. I've notice Josh has got a new menu now and has changed this burger too. Hopefully it's better and hopefully they are using the TBC tablet now as well.

1st time at BBJ so I got the J-Burger. Added Crispy bacon (which was great) and a deep fried cheese patty. To be honest I was a little dissappointed. After all the hype it didn't deliver what I was expecting. I know a lot of people swear by this place. The burger was nice but nothing special. It all kinda tasted like one flavor. The bacon was the best part so I'm glad I added it.  Will try again could have just been an off day or something and I'm always keen for another burger haha
