⚡️🍔 SHANNON NOLLSIE 🍔⚡️ 👌Smoked pastrami gravy (insert Homer drool gif) 💦🧀liquid cheese 🥔tater tots 🧀cheese 🥩handmade Benz beef patty 🐓Southern fried chicken patty - hacked This was a well crafted little number pushed over the 4.5 mark by that epic smoked pastrami gravy. I would bathe in that stuff, just epic and they were liberal with it. So rich and thick with big chunks of meat. You really need some burger dexterity to hold this one together, and I failed 2/3rds of the way through. Only downfall was the beef. It's a strongly flavoured patty (hard to pick the spice added), and it's not smashed. Too much like a rissole. I reckon only having chicken would be nearing on a 🦄 - it was that good. I had a couple of bites without the beef and it was bang on point. So I’ll be back.

$8.99 Double Cheezy Monday and Tuesday Smashed it (and another #hangover), loved it, super crunchy smashed patties and uber gooey cheese. Buns look big but are deceptively soft. Maybe a touch less Burger sauce would add to the balance.

Just one of those days when things weren’t gelling, including my photography skills. Flavourful s/f burger with a nice franks sauce but the chicken size was too small today. Add in the shadows that hampered the pic, and all I can conclude is that I need to have another burger and try again!

Solid little burger from the guys at Brodburger, situated within the Capital Brewery. Upside - fresh as, with traditional ketchup, mustard, onion, and nicely melted cheese Downside - the coarse grind had some tough bits in it, although the flavour was great. I guess that's the risk going coarse. Overall, tasty snack washed down with a pint of the capital's finest.

Love burgers, bikes and beers? Then this is the place for you🤙 At the foothills off the Stromlo Mountain Forest Bike Park in Canberra, Greasy's have decided to set up shop for the summer. I hit up the usually reliable Dirty Bird and hacked it with an extra beef patty and cheese. As you can see they missed the cheese melt on one piece, and the chicken was Luke Skywalker warm. Still tasted on point carried by the GM sauce... a take off of the big Mac, but texture and temp are a big part of the experience. There will be a next time, and Bentspoke is on tap.

Review of the "Cult Burger" (yes that is spelt correctly 😉). This burger popped my peanut butter 🍒, and it was epic!!! 2 X 150g beef patties, bacon jam, streaky bacon, cartel sauce, cheese, onion... All smothered in crunchy peanut butter. This just blew my mind, I don't know how the peanut butter gelled so well with the rich medium cooked beef patties and bacon but it did. The peanut butter didn't dominate, rather creating this flavour I can't describe. It drew the BBQ flavour out of the meat, adding a creamy tone. Add in a handful of brined jalepenos and this went close to being my first unicorn but I took a bit off as I think some fried chicken or a fried mozzarella patty could improve it. Well done chef👍

Aptly named ‘Burnout’ for their last special of this messed up year. 🐓 fried chicken 🐷 Smokey bacon 🧀 aged cheddar 💦 burnout sauce 🥬 lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles 🍔charcoal bun Maybe it was the free beer, but this went down a treat. The charcoal bun was a standout, with a subtle flavour of, you guessed it... Charcoal. Smokiness filtered through the whole burger from the bacon and sauce, nicely balanced with the strong aged cheese, anything less would have been lost. And the chicken, succulent and crispy. Bring on next year.

This was their new menu ‘spicy hick’. Basically a hick with some ‘spicy’ stuff on. Verdict? Bugger all heat! Solid burger as usual, tasty bacon, toasted bun and melted cheese. Down side was the chicken was a bit smaller than usual and the jalapeños/siracha just didn't add enough heat for the $ premium. Maybe I just stuff extra hot...?
