๐๐๐ Maryโs ๐๐๐ Burg-week rolls into day two with an absolute classic! The Maryโs Burger. There isnโt a lot left to say about a burger of such caliber. Arguably, the best patties in the City bar none. The sauce is to die for and a burger I would always recommend to fellow burger aficionados. My suggestion, always double down on the patties! Unfortunately, had to get a takeaway this time so missed enjoying the crazy place but will always be back when in Sydney.

๐๐๐ The Belfield Burger ๐ ๐๐ So sadly I am due to depart the burger-haven that is the inner western suburbs on Sydney! But with sadness comes opportunity and I have set about re-tasting some of my favourite burgers over the years. 7 burgers, 7 days! We start with Belfields, a top quality joint with top quality burgers. Whilst I admit, the vego mayo is not for everyone - in my opinion itโs definitely worthy of a crack. Burger is moist and add some bacon to make this a serious burger. Would love to hear any suggestions from the collective as too hidden gems that need taking down!

๐๐ฒ๐ฝ Sweet Bacon Blues ๐ฒ๐ฝ ๐ Always love coming to Barrio especially for a $10 Monday Burg! How can you go wrong?! The standard beef patty and bacon combo was delicious. Medium rare patty which gets my vote! What sets this burger apart is the Dulce de Leche and Blue Cheese Mayo. You wouldnโt think the caramel flavouring would be a winner but it absolutely is! If you get a chance, check this weeks special! Picante Hash Burger - pickled jalapeรฑo and jalapeรฑo mayo ๐คค

๐ Happy National Cheeseburger Day ๐ Simply had to hit a burg on today of all days and I thought of no better place than Ze Pickle. To be honest, fairly standard but certainly an acceptable burger. Nice juicy patty and tasty American cheese on top. Not much else to report other than that. Some other great burgers at Ze Pickle so will be back!

The Ivan Drago ๐ Happened to be in Melbourne and stubbled across this place. It Is up a set of stairs which is a little hidden away but is in fact a very cool little joint . Even on a weeknight, there were plenty of burger lovers giving this place a workout. Good start! Unlike the namesake in Rocky IV, the Ivan Drago just isnโt quite a knockout! Look, itโs a very nice burger but it just doesnโt hit the mark in my books. The patty is okay in that it was well cooked. The black tomato is a bit weird and Iโm still not sure if I liked or needed that on the burg. On a plus side, the beetroot gave it a great moistness that I personally am a fan of. And the brioche bun is a winning idea. But still I left a bit underwhelmed. The place itself is cool with some great beers on tap. Worth a visit!

The Johnny Travolta ๐๐๐ Now Iโm doing my very best to look past the disorder that was Burger Expo 19 and focus on this burger. Because it was a very serious burger! Not an overly fancy burger by any @stretch. Three things make this a real burger experience. The patty, medium-well and juicy as all hell! The special sauce, I donโt know whatโs in it but I absolutely loved it. Something that often grinds my gears is oversaucing and the burg falling apart. No such probs here. Finally, anything with a hash brown gets a big two thumbs up from me! I would almost go as far to say it was worth the wait! Must try!

Blamerica ๐ ๐ ๐ If you like the Blame Canada, then this is a no brainer. Get this burger in you!! Double patty, double cheese, streaky bacon and the poutine. Its like a juiced-up Canada! This burger is an must eat. Patties cooked medium to rare as is expected in this place. My suggestion, come in here hungry - this takes some eating!

The Big Stag ๐๐๐ The Big Stag is definitely a big olโ burger! So double patty, lettuce, onions, cheese and a special sauce. I must say, I was a wee bit disappointed with this burger. I was expecting really great things given some of the ratings but it fell a bit flat! The words I used to describe this was itโs a bit of a โPosh Big Macโ. The patties were well cooked, nice and pink. But after that it was a little standard, a tonne of lettuce and some sauce. The burger fell apart in the last quarter as well. My lowest rating so far, I think there are better options around the area. The Townie is a decent pub, a bit of a Working Man Pub with decent beers on tap.
