The Ivan Drago 🍔 Happened to be in Melbourne and stubbled across this place. It Is up a set of stairs which is a little hidden away but is in fact a very cool little joint . Even on a weeknight, there were plenty of burger lovers giving this place a workout. Good start! Unlike the namesake in Rocky IV, the Ivan Drago just isn’t quite a knockout! Look, it’s a very nice burger but it just doesn’t hit the mark in my books. The patty is okay in that it was well cooked. The black tomato is a bit weird and I’m still not sure if I liked or needed that on the burg. On a plus side, the beetroot gave it a great moistness that I personally am a fan of. And the brioche bun is a winning idea. But still I left a bit underwhelmed. The place itself is cool with some great beers on tap. Worth a visit!
