The Big Stag 🍔🍔🍔 The Big Stag is definitely a big ol’ burger! So double patty, lettuce, onions, cheese and a special sauce. I must say, I was a wee bit disappointed with this burger. I was expecting really great things given some of the ratings but it fell a bit flat! The words I used to describe this was it’s a bit of a “Posh Big Mac”. The patties were well cooked, nice and pink. But after that it was a little standard, a tonne of lettuce and some sauce. The burger fell apart in the last quarter as well. My lowest rating so far, I think there are better options around the area. The Townie is a decent pub, a bit of a Working Man Pub with decent beers on tap.
