Loaded up the trusty TBC app to find something to grab before retiring for the night at the hotel. Saw Brooklyn Depot and having eaten at their Surry Hills establishment it was time for a state of origin classic. 🍔 ultimate cookout burger 🍔 ft. tender beef brisket juicy beef rib meat depot slaw sliced pickles jalapeno poppers cripsy mozzarella sticks sriracha mayo bbq sauce Wow. It’s not often I overlook a special of the week but reading this left me no other choice. What an absolutely amazing combination of flavours here. The brisket was just so soft, for a monster burger it was just so easy to clamp down and eat through - never an easy feat for the bearded man. Pickles were on point, sauces doing work and slaw packing the crunch to a butter soft combination of meats. The mozzarella sticks were the real twist, every bite with them just packed that pizza in a burger taste and by the end of it all it was a struggle back up the hill to the Hilton. Sorry my boys in blue but they beat us here too 😭
