Saw reviews saying this was one of the best truffle burgers ever, and was pretty excited outta 10 to finally try it. Def didn't feel those exact vibes. Was decent, just a bit dry, not much sauce, and the fried onion straws appeared to be overcooked or stale, potentially even from a jar. The truffle pecorino bun was the best part and good times. Guess worth giving a go if it's on your list.

After always reading good reviews on this burg I was left a bit disappointed. Now I love truffle and have had a lot of truffle and this left a weird taste in my mouth. Patty overdone and the angry onions cooked to oblivion. Expectations were a lot higher.

One of my favourite burgers. So many different textures and intense flavour. If you are a fan of truffle, you have to try this!

Straight up on the the tastiest and most consistent burgers in Sydney. The thing that really sets The Eate apart from the competition in the area in the dedication to their craft and the quality of ingredients that are used. When I say dedication, I’m referring to being up at 4am every morning and going to the markets to get the freshest, best ingredients for their customers for the sy ahead. The quality is exceptional too. This burger is seriously rich, it can feel like a double only being a single. You’ve got perfectly cooked beef wijt a crust as food as a smashed patty, maple skoked pastrami, cripsy onion straws, truffle and their signature softest of soft truffle and pecorino bun! This burger is pretty hard to fault, while the richness might be too much for some, if you love this kind of flavour profile, you’ll love it!

Finally got the memory card reader. From last weeks crawl - burger number 1 I never knew they did such a delectable burger at The Eate but it’s here and it tastes 🔥🔥 Great subtle truffle flavours, the truffle pecorino was incredible and gave it a nice kick. The maple pastrami was super tasty, and the sweetness made it a pleasure to eat. Never thought I’d eat a burger like this at 11am but here I am.

A brilliant spin on the usual truffle burger. Not quite a smash patty but the better elements are there. The bun is amazing. Crispy onion strings add texture and taste and the salty beef bacon/pastrami add seasoning to counter the rich truffle. Less Dulwich Hill, more Dulwich Will be going here regularly now.

- Angus Beef - Melted Cheese - Truffle Butter - Truffle Mayo - Maple Pastrami - Truffle Pecorino I’ve been seeing truffle everywhere, especially from butter which looks crazy good. Stopped for lunch at the EATE and once again really good quality burger. I give them credit because this isn’t the usual truffle burger drenched in truffle mayo.
