When you have a delish beef smashed patty with crumbled edges, all is forgiven. Yes, the tomato and lettuce are meh, and the cheese is average. Even the sauce needs more kick. But it's all about the sum of things, and the Cali Burger has that In and Out feel, goes down smooth. I think their cheeseburger or Big Mac tribute is better :-)

if you're a fast food fanboy classic is right up your alley. iconic and signature burgers but bigger, better and fresher. this is the flame grill and it's like the best whopper you've ever eaten in your life. these guys are as close to the Californian style burgers I've seen in Sydney bar a few and I'm stoked they're close to my hood.

the much better option of the 2 tonight. perfectly smashed beef, the cheese melt was totally unexpected but great surprise. onion and creamy bbq sauce adds a great sweet smokiness. overall the best burger I have tried across all the classic burger stores.

prefer the regular kentucky option over this one. I'ts a decent burger but just dominated by heat. I was hoping for some of the crunch to be preserved but it wasn't and the slaw was a little non effective. didnt balance the heat in the slightest. but you get what you pay for, it is pretty spicy and great value.

I never had a CB Chicken burger before and it was satisfactory, it could have done with a bit more crunch and dare I say zing to it. But it's solid. The hero was that wings hot sauce drenched all over the double fillets (I ordered an extra one). Never had a buffalo wing flavoured burger before so nice novelty. The hot sauce eventually made the chicken soggy which wasn't pleasant but I do wanna try another chicken burger to see if it carry the load on its own.
