Burger Grand Master II

one of the better looking chicken burgers I've had. chicken was nicely coated and tender. I much prefer thigh but this was decent enough for breast. buffalo sauce was more tangy than having any real heat. did the job. it did drown out the cheese unfortunately. not a bad burger. think adding mac n cheese to this could be a goer.

solid amount of lettuce. first time back at the place formerly known as Brades. beef was good quality and the burger had good proportions despite looking like a crazy amount of lettuce. beef bacon isn't bad. not quite bacon, but I enjoy the flavour. this has a few chewy bits but was otherwise fine. good amount of sauce, not a bad effort in the competitive parra market. friendly staff, gave me some chicken wings to try for free as well. 👍

this special was right up my alley I normally get 2 burgers, and i haven't tried both these. the caramelised onion and golden siracha mayo have the massimo a nice curry feel. fig jam and aioli worked well on the figjam. beef perfect as always at hounds and bacon spot on. love ya work

beast! I'm not big on double patties but this burger really needed it. biggest Mac n cheese patty I've had and it managed to not dry out like so many do. the double beef was perfect in amount and quality. pickles added a subtle sweetness that was welcome. the bacon jam was really nice on here. I enjoyed this burger much more than the ingredients list suggested I should.

stomach wasn't feeling great this morning so what better way to fix it than a triple beef cheese bonanza?! truffled caramelised onions had a great flavour and that parmesan special sauce was fantastic. beef was done perfectly as usual from BL and the 3 different cheeses all worked well. fried jalapenos were awesome too. i thought I'd had these before but I can't remember anything this good being a pretty big burger, dryness was always going to be an issue. around the edges, this burger was great - 4.5. the middle 1/2 took a bit of time to get to and was pretty dry by the end. still, hefty, but tasty burger also got loaded fries that haf mozzarella sticks so I really hit the cheese hard today.

last day of the aus day inspired special at BP with a nice twist of bangers and mash. the gravy and mustard aoili were a fantastic combination. mash was nice and smooth and paired with the sausage well. very nice flavours, glad I got to try this one out.

pretty simple burger. didn't realise it didn't come with cheese with its a big no no for. ingredients were fresh, and the sauce combo worked really well. seemed like a bit too much bun to filling for this burger but still worked well enough.

got my ass beach side for the first time in years and had to hit up a burger out there. asked old mate at the counter what the go to was and he suggested the maverick. looked good on paper with onion rings, truffle mayo and double beef. burger came out in no time and the beef/ cheese was great. definitely up there with some of the best I've had. really strong earthiness from the truffle mayo which hit the spot. only downside was the onion rings which had zero crunch. they were basically soggy. very good burger and if I'm out there again would def check out more. had the brownie shake too. decent but not worth $12.
