this is the heavy hitter. same as wildflower plus pastirmi, sucuk sausage and beetroot. the sucuk drives this up, heavy seasoning brings great flavour. these guys operate out of a shipping container. it is heavily decked out looks really nice. hope they get that beef up.

this is the wildflower you go to a place like burgerhead and even if they have a bad day with their side ingredients they rarely get below 4 because the beef and chicken quality is so high you can fall back on it. this is the opposite. side ingredients are fantastic. great slaw, tasty cheese, solid bun. the beef though is way below the rest of the ingredients. its one of the weaker beefs i've had which is a shame coz the charcoal smell hits you from the road. a change in supplier could do wonders. also, i didnt taste onion in either burger.

got suckered in by the mango but didn't realise it was a byo ingredient. Pretty tasty burger but also pretty filthy there was one mango cube in the whole burger.

this was one of the more average specials from sd. beef was smashed heaps good and tater tots were pretty good but the chimichurri was flooded with pretty plain aioli that it completely muted the flavour of that green sauce. abit too similar to sour cream, just didnt mix well with everything else.

This one was easily the weakest. no maple bacon automatically noticeable difference. big let down though is the truffle mayo. no truffle flavour whatsoever. the mayo also felt hotter than the beef which was weird.

this is the beef n halloumi. tasted almost exactly the same. it basically is the same just swap onion ring for haloumi. the beef seemed smashed on this one but not the other one so beef wins here. the maple bacon was dripping that syrup all over the burger and when combined with the awesome pb sauce elevates this burger. big issue is the haloumi is non existent. clearly visible but offers no flavour or texture. Still, very tasty burger.

Saw X-Ray_Mike photos of this yesterday and had that love at first sight chemistry with the buns. they just looked so soft, fluffy and airy. they didn't disappoint. definitely have that pillow effect. great sweetness from the maple bacon and onion ring balanced with freshness from tomato and red onion. this is tomato used right. this is right next to a pub and its a tiny burger. a few of tgese would go down just right after a big night.

couldnt pick a favourite today, both very strong burgers. love the delicate onion rings on this, gives exactly the right level of crispness. my second pulled pork in 2 days. this one was just the meat, no sauce blended into it and i thought it worked better than the saucy ones, even though i like that too. if both of todays burgers were specials and I had to pick one to stay it would be this one even though they were equally enjoyable, this just has that quality that could bring you back for more.
