This is probably the fanciest and most expensive burger I’ve eaten. It’s from the restaurant at The Edition in West Hollywood called Ardor... and it was $26USD 😳 BUT at least it was bloody delicious. Unfortunately I can’t find an ingredients list as they’ve changed their menu since January but I think it was: 🐂 Double dry aged grass fed beef patties 🧀 Gruyère cheese 🥓Apple smoked and candied bacon 💦 Sauce (no idea what but it was green/yellow) As far as aesthetics go, this thing is bloody beautiful. It looks like it’s been hot pressed before serving which I’m totally into as it ensured the burger was hot throughout on arrival. The beef was outstanding! Would be really keen to know what blend and ratio they used but it was delicious. Cheese was stringy, we’ll melted and sharp which worked well with the candied bacon. I don’t think I’d get it again knowing it’s over $35 AUD but I have no regrets in ordering and giving it a go. Note that the Umami powdered onion rings are purchased and served separately AND my score takes into account the value of the burger.
