Smokey BBQ Sauce Dipped KFC Spicy Chorizo Lardons Pickled Jalapeños (added) Kentucky Slaw Sour Cream Aioli American Cheese Sauce Signature Bun . ⛹🏽♂️🍗⛹🏽♂️🍗⛹🏽♂️🍗⛹🏽♂️ ~ After circumstances conspired against a worm lunch at DNO last week, we were able to get in yesterday to try the special before it finishes today. As seems to be custom at Ryde, it was huge. I’m glad I didn’t double it like I’d originally intended, and then changed my mind after seeing Burger_Grandmaster’s monstrosity 😄 Definitely some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. Ridiculously juicy. Seemed to be a different kind of coating, more in the kfc style, which is fine by me. The sauce was copious, sticky, and sweet. I’m glad I added the jalapeños. A burger with that much sweetness needs some heat imo. In hindsight, this is a burger I would have liked to try the death sauce on. I didn’t add bacon as I didn’t want it to over ride the chorizo, which was plentiful. The softness of the burger was a defining feature, as well as how gloriously messy it was 😄 Dirty burgering at its best.
